Those moments in life of sudden realization are so memorable.
I could tell an embarrassing and awkward story about a thing I thought was a toy telescope, but I think I’ll just let people possibly figure it out if they run into a caption (or fill in the blank) that I did.

Or they search for it, lol.

Revisiting more of the subtitles and the closed captioning for Scene 190:

...

(and it's interesting how after ... the action switches from the foyer to the corridor ... it's still considered Scene 190) as Alex makes his second scripted call to Quentin - and rather than what's scripted, Carlotta actually says, "No. Mr., Mr. Jenkins, please." - and that's mostly though not perfectly reflected in both the closed captioning -

- and the subtitles, though they jump ahead to Alex making an unscripted third call to Quentin

- which is also reflected in the closed captioning -

- and after Gerard angrily grabs Alex to stop him, Quentin appears on the stairs and delivers his scripted "Leave him alone," and as Alex pushes Gerard away, rather than deliver what's scripted Carlotta's next line is reflected in both the subtitles -

- and the closed captioning -

To be continued...

Sheriff Patterson:  Sam you’re so drunk that I’m tempted to take a blood sample and age it in a barrel to sell to Vampires  . . . Not that those exist  . . . I’m going to have to work on my hyperbole while you dry out.

Sam:  Boy the Blue Whale looks different.  When did they get cadges?

I don't think that is necessarily the case. Between the original series and its immediate followup Munster Go Home, the part of Marilyn was played by three different actresses. Bewitched replaced several key characters (Darren, Gladys Kravitz and Louise Tate) and the show ran for almost a decade. Most soaps end up recasting characters after a certain point. And I've long since forgotten how many actors have played Batman and Superman. Sure, we all have our favorites but I always like to see what a different actor will bring to the part.
Sometimes these reboots turn out very well. Sometimes they don't. Mission Impossible and Sabrina The Teenage Witch turned out very well. But stuff like Sargeant Bilko and McHales Navy were misconceived from the start.
Am I curious about the future of The Munsters project? I suppose. But at this point we don't know if it will actually make it to the air.
