I read a fanfic years ago about Sarah being Barnabas' daughter. It would have made an interesting side story. Joshua seemed very distant from her. In the opening scene of 1795, Barnabas had just put Sarah to bed for her nap rather than have a servant take care of her. I can't see anyone else in the household except Naomi showing her that much attention. Lots of unexplored soap opera potential.

Julia and Barnabas were good but Angelique looked way too homely. I think Quentin would have looked better dressed in a period costume. The outfit he is wearing does look like he is a crew member aboard the Enterprise. At least, he isn't wearing the expendable crew member red.

Lucia, I had never seen this film until you posted that it was to air. The day it aired it was damp and overcast. I put a fire in the fireplace and made a cup of tea. While not the best movie, I enjoyed it. But heck, I like really cheesy horror movies, too.

It was -20 this morning but warmed up -10. Last night, the weather service ran warnings that the windchill was -40 to -60 depending where you lived. They advised us not to go outdoors, if possible. The news said it was the coldest day ever recorded in Portland. Maine is supposed to be cold but this is unbearable.

I agree, she had dignity and was comfortable in her own skin. I don't think she was a tart but I think Justin took advantage of Josette during her time of grief and loneliness.
