Wow!!!
I'm reading Ms. Parker's responses...some good questions.

Here's a bit of trivia (I hope I'm not wrong); Ms. Parker mentioned her film 'Foxfire Light', which I'd never heard of.

Went to IMDB, not on soon, BUT...the producer of that movie is Bill Dailey, of "I Dream of Jeannie" fame.!

Also, I had forgotten the movie "Race with the Devil"; I believe I was about 12 when I saw it; it scared me!

WOW!!! WHAT A WOMAN!!!

THANKS LARA PARKER :-*

I really enjoyed the webchat. I was excited too because  my question got answered! :)

Regarding her research on voodoo...
She probably did a lot of research on voodoo in the Caribbean islands and the different "spells" used in Martinique, not necessarily early American voodoo.

I'm sorry to be contrary but any bit of research into voodoo would turn up the name Marie Laveau. . it's likely she just forgot and that the research was not too indepth.   :-*

In the chat, someone asked Lara what it was like working with Bill Bixby in the pilot for The Incredible Hulk. Thought some folks might be interested in seeing a few screen grabs of Lara Parker as Laura Banner.

The DVD of the pilot episode includes director's commentary from Kenneth Johnson. He doesn't say a whole lot about Lara Parker other than that her scenes were difficult because they required her to work herself into a specific emotion without any real plotline to get herself there.

Most of her stuff was filmed on the Universal lot, except for the car wreck sequence, which was filmed in Valencia.

He has absolutely nothing to say about the kitten.  >:(

That's shocking! I think the kitten gives a beautiful and multi-layered performance. One can certainly tell he/she was a pro, and to be overlooked like that - shameful!

I agree. I think someone needs to ask LP what it was like to work with the cat at the upcoming Festival.  [nut]
