I enjoyed her character, too. But then I enjoyed all of Elizabeth Eis' characters.

Speaking of the comics, does anyone think issue #4 might come out February 22nd? That's when issue #5 was originally slated for release, though we certainly know it won't be out then. But the odd thing is that I just checked Things From Another World to see when they say #4 should come out, and they're listing June 27th now! Can that be right? I know the issues have been being delayed - but that long?!

Smaller comic book companies sometimes have extremely erratic shipping schedules. I remember having two birthdays between the first and second issues of Ms. Mystic which supposed to be a monthly comic. Still no word on #3.

Not that I thought issue #4 had come out today, but I know that it definitely didn't come out today because tonight I received an e-mail from Dynamite Entertainment that contained a list of their comics that did come out today and DS isn't on it. Though issue #4 is mentioned in the e-mail - but only as a title that's "coming soon." So for the fun of it I checked their Web site, but all it says is that issue #4 is "available soon" - but then it also says the exact same thing for issue #5 - so saying "available soon" is really no indication whatsoever...

Wait a minute. The first arc is supposed to run from issues one to six. Why on Earth would they do a collection of just the first four?

If they do, presumably it will be a limited-run tie-in collectible related to the movie release.

My comic shop guy, who has been reliable thus far, says that Dark Shadows #4 will be released in two weeks ... I'm assuming that means Wednesday, March 7th.

We can only hope it's then and not in June, which seems totally ridiculous. And the fact that he's been spot on with everything else he's said actually gives me more than hope.

So, did anyone get their hands on a copy of issue #4 today? I haven't heard a peep out of Things From Another World - but then I didn't hear a peep out of them when it came to issue #2, so that may mean nothing. But their Web site is still listing June 27th. And Dynamite's own Web site is still only saying "available soon," just as it does for issue #5 and now also issue #6.

I should have waited a few minutes because I just received an e-mail from Dynamite. Issue #4 did not come out today, and it's still listed in the "Coming Soon" section - so who knows...

And he may not have been wrong with what he first said because his list may have indeed shown issue #4 for today. But if it did, apparently the release date was changed again.

I guess we'll see what develops next week...
