At the back of the current issue of TV Guide, Damian Holbrook counts down his list of "8 grade-A gross-outs."  Number 5 is from Tell Me You Love Me:  "...the sight of a sixtysomething Jane Alexander pulling a Divine Brown on David Selby is enough to leave one speechless."

Actually, it's not the scene from the series that left me speechless.

What's truly sad about that item is that once again someone shows how much in denial they are that older people are actually sexually active.  [sad3]  And why do I suspect that they're probably also in denial that they'll ever be those ages themselves?

(As for SG, Marcy normally includes all of TV Guide's references to DS and its actors, so it would not only be unfortunate but a huge departure from policy if she doesn't include this one as well. Though that's not really an answer to the question.  [ghost_wink])

I hate AGEISM too.  It pisses me off.  It's a NEW FORM OF RACISM we are dealing with here.  And it's especially directed toward WOMEN!  A male in Hollywood can age gracefully, yet a woman cannot have a wrinkle in sight and all the acting jobs dry up for them  when they get older.  I guess that is sort of off topic.  I am gonna turn 31(which used to seem OLD to me) and I sure hope my sex life thrives till I go into the ether.....and then I hope it thrives there too!! [ghost_wink] [ghost_cheesy]

TV Guide long ago slithered  into the same cesspool of misbegotten stupidity as has the vast majority of the rest of the Mass Media... Hard to believe that they used to have people like Cleveland Amory writing for them ... Soooo distasteful!

I saw something on HBO's Real Sex on the market for
"geriatric porn",
with performers in their 60s, 70s and 80s.
