Calendar Events / Announcements '09 II / The Vampire Diaries at Comic-Con« on: July 30, 2009, 04:39:29 AM »
The CW's Fall show The Vampire Diaries (based on the book series) has been mentioned here before, and at Comic-Con its writer/producer compared the story of vampires set loose on a small town to DS--
http://www.hitfix.com/articles/2009-7-26-comic-con-first-look-the-cw-s-vampire-diaries I heard that during the Vampire Diaries (VD??) panel, he told the audience that he watched the show when he was a kid, calling it a "sexy soap." 806

Calendar Events / Announcements '09 II / DS parodies by Cheep Productions on YouTube!« on: July 26, 2009, 07:24:24 PM »
I'm so excited!!!
Clip #1 (hilarious!) Clip #2 (from "Save Our Cemetery") Clip #3 (from "Save Our Cemetery") Darryl Schaffer, as always, is spot on as both Barnabas and Julia. All the cast is terrific: Guy Haines as the Ghost of Sam Evans and Mark Moyer as Doc Woodard. (Sharon Smyth-Lenz also appears in the complete S.O.S. video, reprising her role of the Ghost of Sarah Collins.) Thank you for the heads up, JVjr! 810
Calendar Events / Announcements '09 II / Blog post: "What WAS it about Barnabas, anyway?"« on: July 25, 2009, 04:40:41 PM »
OMG, I had to share this entry from a blog called "Chronicling the Dark Shadowy Vampire Twilight." Once you get past the intro and a few questionable remarks, it becomes a delightful discussion of "center slices" and the "natural look" of DS actors and fashions.
