The Star Trek official site reports that Alec Newman will appear in eps 4, 5, and 6 of the 4th season of Enterprise.

"Borderland" is tentatively scheduled to air Friday, Oct. 29 on UPN.

"Cold Station 12" will air Nov. 5 (tentative).

"The Augments" will air Nov. 12 (tentative).

These eps are part of a 3-story arc about an uprising of genetically enhanced humans named Augments.  The trilogy also features Brent Spiner's return to ST playing an ancestor of one of his former characters (where have we heard that before? ;)).  Newman will play an Augment named Malik who, according to the production report on the site, will play a substantial role in "The Augments":
"Malik (Alec Newman) leads the existing Augments in a revolt against Soong [Spiner], believing they should not run ... but take a stand. To that end, Malik devises a heinous plan to ignite war between the Klingons and Starfleet."
The Dying God: A Vampire's Tale, written and directed by self-described DS addict Gerard Denza, will premiere at the Common Basis Theatre in NYC on Oct. 7.  Denza says he has been inspired by the writing styles of Malcolm Marmorstein and Ron Sproat and asked (nicely ;)) for an opportunity to encourage other DS fans to come to his show.

For DS fans unable to attend, I thought I'd share my pics taken at some of the sights of interest-- to this DS fan, anyway-- in and around Tarrytown:

But first, friends meet at a restaurant in a village in the beautiful Hudson Valley:
Guy, Bette, Midnite, Nancybe, Cath, Julia99 and Gothick

The Scarborough Post Office, formerly the train station and seen in Ep. 1 when
Vicki and Burke arrive in Collinsport.

The Beechwood Estate used as the Old House in HoDS

You'll probably be seeing this image a lot in the coming weeks. ;)

ProfStokes mentioned this in her writeup:
DS Weekend 2004

American Cinematheque at the Egyptian Theatre will be screening Daughters of Darkness (LES LEVRES ROUGES) [1971, in English] on Friday, August 27 at 7 p.m. during its 5th Annual Festival of Fantasy, Horror, Science Fiction & Anime.*  A discussion will follow with director Harry Kƒ¼mel.  The Egyptian Theatre is located at 6712 Hollywood Boulevard in Hollywood.  Admission is $9 and tickets are still available but predicted to sell out at the door.  There are several options for parking near the theatre.  John Karlen is NOT listed as a guest but I'd recommend ProfStokes' writeup to see what he had to say about the event.  Thanks, PS!

Haven't noticed the cover elsewhere, so...

Only a limited number of these books were available at the Fest in the registration area.  I purchased mine on Saturday and had it signed by the author (the only autograph I sought this weekend) and by Sunday they were sold out.  When I approached Jamison I learned that he and his father were seeing it for the first time and seemed very pleased with it.  I think it was $15 but please correct me if that's not right.  This is, of course, the script for Jamison Selby's audio drama performed during the cast reunion at the 2003 Fest.  The CD was on sale separately at the MPI table.  (Several people asked me the cost of the CD so I would love to know in order to pass it along.)

Inside the cover are photos of Jamison and the cast.  Included are writer's notes and a foreword by David Selby. :).
