FEBRUARY 8, 2019
"MASTER OF DARK SHADOWS" DOCUMENTARY PREMIERE - NEW YORK, APRIL 13, 2019 - PART OF "DARK SHADOWS SATURDAY THE 13th” CELEBRATION ALONG WITH SPECIAL DINNER RECEPTION WITH THE STARS.
As ShadowGram Official Updates previously announced, the long-awaited, feature-length documentary "Master Of Dark Shadows", which chronicles the history of the Gothic romance-horror-suspense series and the path of its creator and genre kingpin Dan Curtis, will officially premiere in New York City on Saturday, April 13.
The special screening will take place at 2:00 pm at the Paley Center For Media, located at 25 West 52nd Street between 5th and 6th Avenue. Following the film, a moderated discussion will be held on stage with original Dark Shadows actors and production personnel, followed by autograph signings and DS memorabilia sale.
The second part of the "Dark Shadows Saturday The 13th" festivities will take place at the restored historic Empire Hotel a few blocks away where "Dark Shadows" held rehearsals for several months in 1966 during its early days. A dinner reception with the stars will be held and all attendees will receive a Deluxe Dark Shadows Gift Bag containing DS merchandise and collectibles plus an exclusive, never-before-available color 8x10 photograph signed by original DS cast. The event will end at 8 pm though fans are welcome to stay at the hotel bar for drinks and mingling afterwards.
Please note that the Paley Center will not be selling tickets for "The Master Of Dark Shadows" premiere. Admission will be by advance reservation only for the full "Dark Shadows Saturday The 13th" afternoon and evening activities and will be handled through ShadowGram Online and the Dark Shadows Festival/Official Fan Club. Full online and mail order ticket reservations and ordering information will be announced in the next few days along with DS guests expected to participate in the screening and dinner events.
