My results were the same as MB's verbatim. Maybe I'll get to moderate a board someday....hmmmm....MBjr...  [hall2_wink]

When I exchanged emails with Craig in July, we talked a bit about his revised edition of "Barnabas & Co.". He said he hoped to have it out in September. Does anyone know the status of the book? I told him I'd buy it the second it came out, and I kinda want to keep that promise.
I really wanted to ask him about that at the fest but every time I saw him he had people surrounding him. I sure hope someone can get it to the press!

over at the old house.....we never even get to see where that funky louvered door leads to. [hall2_tongue]
I always wondered what was back there, too.

What they said! >:D

While I agree that Joan Crawford could never have been all the characters that Joan Bennett played so perfectly, I can't agree that she was the most talented actress on the show.  Nancy Barrett gets that accolade, in my opinion....hands down.
You know it! I really started to take note of NB the first time I saw the Adam story, and as the show moved into 1897 she totally blew me away! Some years went by before I was able to see her again as Millicent, and again I was just amazed with her performances. What a great actress!

The slideshows began back on June 27, 2005 as a buildup to DS' 40th anniversary and were originally intended to be a one-time thing. But there were some requests to replay them a second time, so we are.  :)

New members who might have missed the explanation can check out:

Today In DS History

on the Testing board. I've stickied it (it's currently the 8th topic down) to make it easier to find.  ;)

Thanks, MB, for the info and the link, I'll check it out. There are so many things I've never understood about the intricacies of this board. For example, the little checkmark thingie that takes you to where you left off in any given thread. Sometimes it's there, sometimes it isn't.

I was completely puzzled by today's appearance of the floating jar of mayo (at first I thought it might be a jar of "Fluff") here on the boards, until I viewed the daily slide show and realized that today is the anniversary of Mrs Johnson's epic roast beef sandwich encounter in the Collinsport Inn.

And I have only just now realized through YOUR post that the slideshows represent an anniversary at ALL!  :o

Me too. She was by far the most realistic of David's babes and a great actress.

Joe, it's been several years since I viewed your pages and I'd forgotten how fascinating those pictures were, particularly those of Clarice Blackburn and Don Briscoe! Thanks for sharing!

Yes, there's a huge thread on this topic that came up early this year. Warner Brothers has expressed interest in putting together a double feature of HODS and NODS, don't really know what the status is now. More info is available at tvshowsondvd.com and I suggest you search for the thread I mentioned on this forum, it was fascinating.

I'm suggesting 3 different times so that people with their different schedules will be able to hit at least one of the times. (2 times would be even better, etc.)

How about:  11am, 5 pm, 11pm  Eastern

Of course if you're on the west coast:
8 am, 2pm, 8 pm

Central & Mountain, or if you're in Europe, figure it out.
 :)

I'm in, Eastern time. Thanks for the suggestion regarding the different time zones, same thing I was thinking.

Claude,

What a divine picture of the Divine One!  Thanks for posting that.   ;D

I'd love to see it but for some reason all I see is a HUGE square with a microscopic "This photo is currently unavailable." Firefox and IE. :'(
