Didn't  ANY of you know that "Grave Secrets: The Legacy of HIlltop Drive" was on the ABC Family channel tonight?

I'll admit, it's a pretty dreadful movie, and Patty Duke chews scenery like my dog chews bones, but David Selby IS in it!!  

Just the shot of him in Bermuda shorts should have had you all telegraphing the news to one another, no?....oh, wait...make that telePHONING one another!;)

Well, sorry I didn't turn the TV on sooner....I'd have gladly spread the word!!

Just in case we weren't already certain we were back in the Hippy Dippy 60's,  let there be no doubts NOW!!

I Ching Wands....Eastern Mysticism....Transendent Meditation....Astral Projection....Gypsy Witch Tarot Cards....Was that a wiff of incense I caught, or something slightly less legal?  

Are Magda and Sandor offensive enough to warrant a class action suit by every son and daughter of Romany in America? (Tho Thayer and Grayson ARE a hoot and a half [lghy] )

And on a completely unrelated subject, can anyone explain to me why the parlour maid is wearing a dress that appears to be made of sapphire blue silk satin under her apron?  This is Collinwood, Maine....not the Court at Versailles!!

The sliding pages are nice....but sliding from a page to a white page that flashes to a page is visually irritating beyond belief!!

So there we were, making our way down 47th St....trying to get to Radio City before the Moody Blues took the stage....when up ahead I see a large yellow sign all lit up, advertising a local eatery by the name of...

...so naturally I crack up laughing, prompting my husband to demand what's so g-d damned funny about being stuck in traffic....which makes me laugh harder!

Yes, the concert was wonderful....no, we didn't stop at Maggie's Place. [lghy]

Why do we find some characters sympathetic and others not?  Why do we love some and loathe others?

Name a character....(NOT an actor).....and explain if you can, exactly what it is about that character that draws you in,  OR, specifically what it is about that character that makes you despise them.  Who do YOU admire, feel sorry for, envy, mistrust, or hate.  Who makes you laugh, cringe, worry, blush, or groan?

There will be no judgements, prizes or unannounced quizes at the end of this thread. ;)

Considering how long Mr. Karlen's been gone, and how long he's going to be again,  I wonder if he even bothered to ask what the heck was going on in the story line when he showed up at the studio?

Not like he needed to know what Willie's "motivation" was or anything! [lghy]

Do women have signature scents anymore?  

I'm wearing Gardenia right this minute, but tomorrow it will almost certainly be something else!

Have signature scents gone the way of garters, gloves and hats in church?

....bears quite a resemblance to an Insurance Company I once worked for!!  Who knew the devil sat at a cheap knock off of an antique desk, keeping tabs on the inmates comings and goings, and giving the visitors a hard time, like the busybody Inquisitor that worked at the front desk of my old place?

Dante Alighieri would weep with disappointment to find Hell was such a chintzy,  bourgeois, badly accessorized place.  Somebody call the folks over at "Trading Places"....QUICK!!  [tngb]

Has there been any word on exactly WHERE the DS Fest in New York is going to be held next year?  

I'm pretty sure I asked this question when the dates for next year were announced: how can they announce the dates if the location hasn't been booked yet....and if it's booked somewhere, why hasn't it been announced?

Anybody in the know?

Abbeymarch and I tend to dither  ?!?  :(  :)  >:(   ?!?     and will require as much time as possible to make up our minds about going!  ::)

That's NOT coming from the cemetary on Eagle Hill!

That's ME!!....and CAROL!!....and maybe some of the other ladies who've discovered Willie recently.

He's going missing for the next MONTH!!! [bawl]

And then he comes back for 3 episodes over a 6 week period, and then he's Carl  just for 11 performances,  and then he goes away again for almost 4 MONTHS!!!!

So, somebody tell me, PLEASE.....what else will be going on in the next few months that will be worth watching!.....?  >:(
