I like Burke, but I do have to agree with you guys
about all Roger Davis characters. (He'd only have to mess up my hair do once, then he'd be grabbing himself - - - much lower down! )I don't care for Hallie and Amanda for the same reason, they are both too whiny. 622

Good question Vam[ideab]
I'm like you I especially like the when she cursed Barnabas. Another scene that sticks out for me is when she died in Barnabas' arms at the end of the 1840 storyline. 623
Calendar Events / Announcements '02 II / Re: OT/ AN APOLOGY & A GOODBYE« on: November 03, 2002, 09:27:12 PM »Quote Forgive my being a butt-insky, but as a matter of course for online boards, I find that simply ignoring the postings of individuals that are offensive, insulting, boring, or otherwise inappropriate is usually sufficient to keep my blood pressure down and avoid wasting time and bandwidth. Some people thrive on pushing others' buttons; they're wastes of flesh, as far as I'm concerned, and it's better just to cover up yer buttons than let 'em get to you. Very sage advice Mark ![]() 624

WOW! Love at First Bite, you've got sharp eyes.
I've seen this scene many times and never caught that. I'll watch for it the next time I watch this episode. 627

One of my mother's favorite expressions is- -
"Put it in the dust and let the rain settle it." Meaning let bygones be bygones. I hope you change your mind and stay on the DSForums Vam. 628

Special effects aside, I very much enjoyed The Mummy and the first sequel. It had the flavor of an old fashion type monster movie IMHO. Take a chance and watch, I think you'll like it. 630

I may be wrong in this Bernie, but I think Lugosi seemed to enjoy his tongue in cheek role in the A & C movie. He looks like he has a hard time not cracking up in places. |
