I've been rewatching the early episodes.
Now I am up when Barnabas has become an old man.
The phrase I've noticed is "We'd like to take it one

When I first discovered DS fandom, I join a DS group.
They sent me a membership card. I made the mistake of showing
this to my sister. So when she made fun of me, she'd tell people
that I am a Card Carrying Member of Dark Shadows.

Canon?!    Bite your tongue (or should that be sprain your fingers?  )!!    When it comes to the daytime DS, the only thing that I consider canon is what actually took place on the TV series. I don't consider the elements in Art Wallace's Shadows On The Wall that were never incorporated into the actual storylines to be canon - I don't consider any of the backstory within Angelique's Descent to be canon (heaven forbid on much of that score, actually ) - and I don't even consider Sam Hall's TV Guide article (Whatever Happened To Barnabas and Co.) to be canon either. (And sorry Jamison Selby fans, BUT nothing that includes Carolyn married to Ned Stuart could ever be seriously considered canon in my book!!  )

To me, RTC is a fanciful skit that was presented at the Fest. The fact that the DS actors took part in it might make it a cut above, say, what the Collinsport Players might do (though I love their skits ), but like what the CPs do, I would never consider RTC (or this past Fest's Vengeance At Collinwood) as canon.

The only one I can would have been better casted is Harry Johnson.
Maybe the girl who played Hally too. She was a bit too old for the part.

Wow! I've read  Rebecca more then once plus watched the movie many times
and never noticed the second Mrs. DeWinter's first name was not told.
That did surprise me. lol
