« on: December 23, 2023, 06:57:05 AM »
Sad news from Stuart Manning: DS fan Marcy Robin passed away today (Friday) from complications associated with Alzheimer's disease. We all knew Marcy as publisher of Shadowgram as well as a Festival Committee member and coordinator of its costume galas, and as a wonderful fan fiction writer. My heartfelt condolences go out to her family and friends.

Recently added to the Hollywood Show lineup at the Burbank Marriott on October 6-7:  Lysette Anthony

Thanks again, Kosmo!

I recently saw Lysette's excellent performance in "The Hollow", a Poirot movie from 2004.  She played Veronica, an actress that traveled to see the former lover she never quite got over, telling him, "Leave me again and I really will make you sorry!"  Thankfully there was no French accent.  [easter_wink]

The series is currently running on PBS So Cal, but I have no idea if other PBS stations are airing them.

"The Rose" and "Apocalypse Now" actor Frederic Forrest has passed, and I noticed today in his filmographies that one of his earliest roles was as a Blue Whale customer in 1967.  I saw ep #137 not long ago and will have to watch it again.  I had no idea!
