MB>>>Notification
« on: April 27, 2002, 06:04:06 PM »
Do you remember I posted a question about if I click on "notify if someone replies" and I told you I got the question..."do you want to be notified...y or n?"
And you told me you always get that.

Here's the difference:

There are two places to click notify of replies:
the TOP of your post
the BOTTOM of your post

If you click the top notify, you'll get the question; not on the bottom post....BUT...

To date, I've never rec'd a reply...what would it look like?
(and there have been more than a couple of topics where people have replied.)

Have a good weekend darling,

Patti

Hi Patti,  when you click on that you wish to be notified of replies, it shows up in your e-mail.  That's what it did for me when I clicked on that box. Hope this helps. :)

Hi, Patti.  Pardon me for butting in when you (eek!) weren't talking to me, but have you ever received ANY board-generated mail in your mailbox?  I thought it was determined already that the board couldn't get anything past your server, and MB even had to send your password to you.

But have you received any mail from dsboards other than items coming directly from MB's account or mine?  I recall that MB had to send your password after you said you hadn't received it.  I thought it was determined that the mail that's automatically generated from dsboards, such as the automated reply notifications, the notice sent when the duplicate membership list was deleted (remember that fiasco?), and your automated password notification don't get through to Superlink much like they don't reach AOL addresses.

Actually, I've NEVER rec'd DSboard e-mail from anyone but you or MB...but, maybe no one has sent me an e-mail :'(.
But I also don't receive the notification.
Also, I got MBs e-mail about no virus; hadn't received anything about a virus.

Thank GOD it's Friday.

Cable's out :-/

Patti
