Diana once told me that she was a Wiccan.

Later that same day when it was announced that Pope John II had died, Diana told me she was Catholic and had stopped going to Rome to visit because the Vatican was always calling her to come have lunch with the Pope.  She found her time there always limited as a result so she stopped going to Rome on vacation.

I was unable to contain my derisive laughter so I will probably burn in hell.  Unless, of course, I can wrangle a luncheon with the current Pope at Diana's behest and get blessed.:)

I did tell Diana that she was one serious piece of work and she just smiled.

::laughing out loud:: Great story.

Maybe she isn't as pagan as she seems- after all, she did send her son to Catholic school!

...with, I assume, a stellar recommendation from the Pope.

I knew her son in college.  We were in a video production class together.  We weren't close friends, but we got along well enough and were part of a group that would often have lunch together.  I've often thought about asking her how he's doing, but I'd be afraid that she'd perceive my asking as an invasion of privacy and respond with anger.

Diana appeared in two of his productions for that class.  We produced remote videos and studio productions and she appeared in one of each.  It was rather fun, being in the control booth, watching her act.  We weren't allowed to stop tape during the studio productions, so the experience was rather DS-like.  I didn't attempt to speak to her, but she seemed very nice.

Claude, she LOVES talking about her son, Kiley is it?  I'm sure if you told her you and he had a college class together, and reminded her that she'd done those 2 films, she'd have no problem giving you an update on him.  ;)
