It starred George Grizzard, Grayson Hall, James Karen and Barnard Hughes, Diana Davila and Jeremiah Sullivan.

It was made in 1975 was produced on video for ABC and while it aired a few times in late night slots in the late 70's is currently lost. It ran in a 90min time slot and was most likely 75/76 minutes sans commercials.

Plot details are sketchy, even among participants in the film, but this is what is known:

Grizzard played a rich, Howard Hughes-type, who concocts a plan to have himself frozen ala Walt Disney to save him from his terminal disease. The plan is to thaw him out in 20 years, but Jeremiah Sullivan, Frederick Coffin and other nefarious cohorts conspire to release him early and doom him. But when they go to release him, the tank is found empty...

He was frozen in some kind of process that froze his blood and he has some vampiric qualities, but in a scientific way. Also, it looks like he dies in a lab fire at the end...A colleague seemed to remember him asking for "Blaaaaaahd" and seemed to recall that he was wrapped up in some kind of aluminum foil like Woody Allen in SLEEPER.

Not much beyond this is known, a script doesn't survive and neither does the film...unless any of you remember it more clearly or taped it!

If anyone saw it or can remember more, please post your recollections.

Sound familiar to anyone?
