Stokes: Oh, dear - I knew I shouldn't have simply scraped the mold off of that sharp cheddar and served it to Mr "Hailey" anyway...

Stokes, in a moment of inner-dialogue:

"Hmm, I wonder if Julia Hoffman, M.D., that veritable 'Medical-Jill-of-all-Trades,' can even treat this poor fellow's apparent case of narcolepsy?"

To support his ever growing need for sharp cheddar, Professor Stokes began to invite strangers so that he can intoxicate them then go through their pockets for loose change.
