I found the New Zealander film Braindead/Dead Alive on youtube just looking to watch a horror movie. I was wonderfully surprised at what a gem it is. Yes, it's way over the top gory, but that's deliberate because it is actually a very funny, hysterical, over the top comedy. Not to give anything away, but I can't think about the scene with the zombie baby in the park without doubling over.
Now, it might not be everyone's cup of tea, but I have to give kudos to the producers of this hilarious and gory cult classic. It is on-line, so just google it, and if you decide to watch it, just be prepared because nothing in it is subtle. I really think most of you cousins will really appreciate it after watching it and, like me, will cautiously recommend it to others.
