40 actors who were way too young or too old for their roles

Chloë Grace Moretz
At age 13, Moretz starred as Hit-Girl, a comic book character who cursed like a sailor and was no stranger to extreme violence. The film was rated R, meaning she technically couldn't watch it.

Somehow I think it's a stretch to include Chloe on this list because Hit Girl is supposed to be 11-years-old and Chloe was 12/13 when she played her. Most of the list features actors who were either much older than their characters or much younger, but Chloe was pretty much age appropriate. Whether or not she could see the film she made is beside the point...

Doesn't seem like they put much work on this list. When I think too old, I think along the lines of Ava Gardner and Lorne Greene in Earthquake. He was supposed to be her father but in fact was only 7 years older than Ava. Pretty good trick.

Let alone Lucille Ball in Mame or Mae West in Sextette .... OMG!

The list is endless.
