What's with the new font?

Not liking it....Everything looks small and sideways.

Well, something is going on. The type on posts is slanted and is smaller.... like it looks when somebody reposts a previous comment. I cant even find the testing 1,2,3 anymore on the main page where I posted this originally. I only got in thru clicking the header on the original post. Havent changed font style or size on my tablet and this is the only site it is doing it. Maybe it is haunted. For what its worth, the type in the posting box looks correct, just smaller but it definitely posts sideways style when I hit post.

Hmmm - the sideways slant would indicate the text is showing up in italics. Italics haven't been added either.

Something else, The font in the Dark Shadows Forums box at the top is normal as before,  and so is the font in the "must" quotes box .. and so is the print in the reply box until I hit post. Everything else, the type looks smaller and slanted.

Just tried it on my phone to make sure my tablet hasn't gone loco. Same deal, all the print is slanted..So I can't be the only one. Very weird. Can live with it if necessary, just very hard on the eyes. I really don't get why the print looks correct in the post box, just smaller ...until I hit post  Haunted indeed.

But what my phone and PC have in common is I use Chrome as a browser. Which browser are you using?

Oh boy. I'm not a techie. I guess my phone uses google chrome. I didnt install anything on my tablet ..its an Amazon fire. All it says is silk browser. But you know what, after I logged out and checked my phone per your your post question, it was like poof... now the font is back to normal on both. I didn't do anything at my end either .. it just happened. Holey Moley and Yikes. The site IS haunted.

I'm very glad things are back to normal.

As for the forum being haunted, way too many weird things happen here (particularly like the whole period in 2019 where the dating of posts flashed back in time from when they were really made - and especially those two lines of code recently disappearing from the routine that does one of the Robservations slideshows) that I'm willing to believe almost anything...

Well, visually the regular style looks great and is WAY easier on the eyes than than that slanty mish mash font. Hope that ghost is done with his or her haunting ..lol.

I noticed the italics before I went to bed last night. Everything was so slanted, it made me feel like I had wandered into one of the villain's hideouts on Batman.
