If you don't want to know the circumstances surrounding September 3rd's entry in this slideshow, then don't read any further...
[spoiler]September 3rd's quote:
Ep #271 (1967) - Judge Crathorne - 'Elizabeth, I MUST go before you say anything more, but if there's anything you want me to do, please ask. Please?'
From "#0271/0272: Robservations 12/05/01: Digging Up Paul"
Jason protests to those assembled that Liz is sick, insane, hysterical. Carolyn, in disbelief, can't believe what her mother had said (although Miss Stoddard herself was ready to commit murder, and Liz saved his miserable life with her confession). Vicki urges Liz to tell the entire story, but Roger wants to call in Frank Garner before his sister utters another word. Paul insists Liz needs a doctor, not a lawyer, she's ill! Liz insists on telling the whole story, particularly to her daughter. Judge Crathorne wisely departs, since he might well be sitting in on this criminal case and asks Liz to let him know if there's anything he can do to help.
The Robservations doesn't reference the quote directly and, actually, barely references it at all because the ep falls into the period where there's little detail. However, the AOL Upadate from back when the ep was shown on the Sci-Fi Channel as the first ep on 10/6/95 is slightly better:
Liz says she killed Paul, and Jason buried him. Jason claims that Liz is hysterical, she's been under a great strain. Roger, who can't quite believe what he's hearing, asks Liz to wait for a lawyer. Jason maintains she's ill, and needs a doctor, not a lawyer. The judge reminds Liz of his responsibility to the law, and asks her not to say anything until he's had the chance to leave. Liz, meanwhile, doesn't need a doctor, and she doesn't want to wait for her lawyer; she's held the secret for so long that she needs to tell it now, especially to Carolyn.
And as an aside that has nothing to do with the quote, Roger does not say that he wants to call in Frank Garner because he actually says, "Before Liz says another word I want Garner called in here," with no first name, and when Liz' lawyer is referred to simply as "Garner," it has always referred to Richard Garner, not Frank.
And this is the fourth quote from this ep. The first (Jason - 'You MUST all try to be very calm.') was back on April 24th of 2020, the second (from 1949 flashback: Liz - 'MUST I?') was back on November 15th of 2020, and the third (from the 1949 flashback: Jason - 'Yes, ma'am. Ya MUST') was back on November 3rd of 2021. So all that means that Ep #271 has joined the club with Eps #2, #3, #42, #44, #50, #52, #54, #66, #106, #119, #133, #158, #195, #208, #211, #212, #296, #300, #308, #315, #340, #365, #367, #377, #384, #405, #410, #426, #449, #450, #462, #466, #479, #481, #503, #506, #518, #528, #534, #543, #544, #545, #550, #608, #609, #629, #639, #643, #644, #646, #647, #651, #655, #678, #709, #717, #727, #734, #742, #743, #746, #750, #763, #764, #796, #883, #884, #886, #889, #915, #926, #975, #976, #977, #993, #1006, #1011, #1014, #1025, #1057, #1064, #1081, #1111, #1125, #1126, #1127, #1128, #1150, #1197, #1199, #1206, #1218, #1222, #1223 and #1232.
