A item featuring a DS alum on Ebay
« on: December 03, 2005, 07:27:10 AM »
I've found a item at http://www.ebay.com and in that B&W picture from the NBC series The Bold Ones that ran from 1969-1973, the late Dana Elcar (Sheriff Patterson #1 on DS, later Pete on MacGyver) is pictured with Henry Darrow.

Original photo: "The Bold Ones"
Check it out :)

Talking of Dana Elcar, I highly recommend the episode of The Rockford Files featuring him and Dennis Patrick together in roles definitely reminiscent of their work on DS.

I don't think it is in the new TRF DVD set, but perhaps it will be in a future release.  It's really a fun thing to see.

That one ("The Great Blue Lake Land and Development Company") should be on the 2nd Season DVD, along with appearances in other eps by Mitch Ryan and Joel Fabiani (from the original DS), Blair Brown (2005 pilot), and Wayne Tippit ('91 series).

Also, The Rockford Files can be seen weekday mornings on WGN and in Southern California on KDOC.  The ep Gothick mentioned is scheduled to air on WGN on Thursday, Dec. 22 at 10 a.m. Eastern, 7 a.m. Pacific.   [ChristmaS3]
