Majestic Toys has updated their website, and the new pages acknowledge the "Dark Shadows" figure line. Here's a link

There's two of Barnabas (1795 & 1967) and one Quentin, but Barnabas comes with the 200 year old sculpt as well.

For a better picture, see if a smaller box is there on the lower right hand side of the main page, it has the 3 DS figures in it. You can click on it and it shows you a larger picture of the figures than what's under the "catalogue" section.

I got the follwing reply from Majesctic Toys a few days ago...

Dear Dark Shadows fan,
I'm sending this letter to let you know what is happening with Majestic Studios release of the Dark Shadows 12-inch collectible figures.  The release has been postponed until the end of January/ beginning of February.  They are being manufactured right now and will be shipping from Hong Kong by boat on January 15, 2006.
Majestic has been in talks with a much larger company about a possible partnership or even merger.  Once we began talks, we held up all production.  These negotiations look like they will take months to complete, so we have decided to go into production to get just the Dark Shadows and Abominable Dr. Phibes figures out.  We do not want to hold these particular figures up any longer since people have been expecting them for a while.
If you have pre-ordered either the Barnabas Collins current day version, Barnabas Collins 1795 era version, Quentin Collins or Dr. Phibes, they will be shipped to you at the beginning of February.  All credit cards will be charged at that time.  On the other hand, if you need to cancel your order, you can contact me at (removed).  I will handle it immediately.
We are sorry for the delay.  And, we believe you will be very pleased with the completed figures and packaging for Dark Shadows and Dr. Phibes.

I've been a big DS fan for years.  As many who post here probably did, I used to run home from school to watch the show.  We only had black and white TV, so I didn't know it was broadcast in color in the later shows...

My husband and I have been watching the video tapes (starting with the 52-tape collector's series before Barnabus showed up) for about a year now. We have the entire VHS collection and are even up to Box 21 in the DVD series...

I'm enjoying the DS Forum - I'm sure you will see me around a lot!  Now that I've read about cures and curses... CURSE ME - anyone... really, go ahead!!! :-)  Please...

Welcome JosettesMusicBox, I gave you a curse. I'm sure that you will love this board!

I hope that there are going to be enough figures released so that they will be in the stores. Maybe if I place an order now they will have enough so I can get them. I also am hoping that they will release Josette/Maggie,  Angelique/Cassandra,, Naomi/Liz, Willie, and Ben, and all of the others. I hope that the merger will not keep them from expanding the Dark Shadows figures. If the figures were coming out before Christmas I would be buying them as gifts for everyone on my list; wheather they had heard of Dark Shadows or not just to increase the sales.

The merge kind of worries me too. I hope they continue the line (I would love a Josette and a Willie), but at this point, I just want my Barnabas figure!

I was fortunate enough to find a store near me that will get them in. I've already bought a few items from them, and I have a set waiting for me as soon as the figures are released. Stores like Media Play and Suncoast used to carry Majestic figures, but I'm not sure that they carry much of them anymore. I did see a Battlestar Galactica figure there a couple of months ago, but I don't know if they will get the DS figures or not. It seems like these kinds of figures are becoming an online thing.

I received a new email from at Majestic Toys dated 1/27/06, in which he states: Michael,
The Dark Shadows figures will be shipping out in the next 10 days.

I also had asked if Majestic would be attending the DS convention, but he wasn't aware yet and didn't know what the dates were. I replied to give him the dates so we'll see what happens.
