A Discovery of Witches Was Created for Hopeless Romantics, and That's OK

I love the first paragraph:

"For those of you who thought vampire romances were finally going out of style, shame on you. This genre is as immortal as the sexy, emotionally tortured bloodsuckers it's built upon and will continue to dominate pop culture so long as there are gorgeous (preferably accented) people willing to gaze adoringly into each others' eyes. And thank God for that, because A Discovery of Witches is basically every hopeless romantic's dream come true."

Now if only someone would revive DS so that we can get back to seeing our own "sexy, emotionally tortured bloodsucker," Barnabas, "gaze adoringly" into Josette/Vicki/Maggie/Whoever's eyes...

Though until then, I suppose this show might do...

Is this a new TV show coming?
Is it TV, cable (HBO, SHOW), Flix, Prime or Hulu?

I just watched, "The Woods" on Prime. I'd recommend it.

Watched a little bit of People's Choice or which ever was on last Sunday; it was nice to see NOT made for TV shows winning!

(I remember being new on Flix, and thinking, well, they'll still have to make TV series, or what is there to watch!)

The series is an adaptation of Deborah Harkness’s ‘All Souls’ trilogy.

I don't subscribe to Sundance Now or Shudder - and joining another subscription service isn't really something I'd like to do - but given the great reviews I've been reading for this series, I may need to join just to watch this series...
