I hadn't realized until late last night (early Tuesday morning) that it was already starting this Wednesday.  Except for Sundays when I have a ton of things to watch, Wednesday happens to be the day when I already have 2 other shows and that had to be when this is added!! 

Anyway, in case anyone doesn't realize it, it starts tomorrow (today - Wednesday the 18th).

[Hope that wasn't confusing - I still consider it the previous night for several hours into the new day, so I made sure to add the 18th in case my wording was mixing it all up!]

It never hurts to mention it again - especially considering that until a few weeks ago the show was going to return on Friday the 20th. Wednesday is a much better day. And we can't ask for a better time period that following Riverdale!

In the Fast Overnights:

Ratings: The Originals Returns Up, ...

"The Originals opened its fifth and final season on Wednesday with 1 million total viewers and a 0.4 demo rating, up from both last season’s Friday average (940K/0.3) and finale (800K/0.3) while also doubling Life Sentence‘s short-lived average in the time slot."

As predicted, coming on after Riverdale helped. But what's also interesting is that the show lost very little of Riverdale's lead in because:

"Opening The CW’s night, Riverdale (1.08 mil/0.4) ticked up with its musical episode."
