That is an insane price these days - though it wasn't 20 odd years ago. Unfortunately I don't remember who published it, but back then there was a flyer that circulated around fandom that listed items fans put up for sale and some of the prices for the novels and other items were just as outrageous, and people actually paid them. Back then novels also sold for outrageous prices on eBay. Though thankfully for fans who are looking to complete their collections these days, things are a lot more sane...
