Interesting.  There are much better photos of Jonathan crowning Miss Vampire than the one used here, but the ones I have seen were black and white and this is color, so perhaps that's why this was used.  I had never seen this shot before.

I'd never seen that photo of Frid and Nancy Barrett either - which is one of the reasons I wanted to share the article.  [hall2_smiley]

Speaking of the pageants, though, it's interesting that one of the Miss American Vampire finalists went on to infamy, yet whoever participated in Miss Ghost America or even won the title seems to have gone mostly into obscurity because until this article I don't ever remember reading who any of them were...
