To those who are in L.A. this weekend:  how about sharing any gossip/news from the Festival?  I'm sure that there are those like me who can't make it, but would love to hear ANY news in the DS world!!!!

I'm looking forward to reading reports as I've never been to one.

there are updates elsewhere on this site. kathy cody was a no show. they showed th wb pilot tonite. i thought it was great. there was a joan bennett tribute with june lockheart and joans daughter. i thought it was a big long bore. june lashed out because there was a baby crying while she was reading and later the microphone made an extremely loud feedback noise! im suprised she didnt walk off the stage.

I don't know about the others but I ran non-stop just about the entire week-end.  Just getting my bearings after being in a sugar/fest coma all day.  The mail was piled high, e-mail back-logged and the household came to a grinding halt while I was away and no food was in the house.  More soon.

Well, does functioning on 9 hours sleep over the entire weekend and most of Monday qualify as running non-stop?  ;D  I'm actually surprised I'm awake now. But I did just sleep for 15 hours straight.  :D

I for one am glad to get back to work today so I could get some rest LOL.... I can relate MB on the lack of sleep. bed at 3 am and up at 6 or 7 can only be done for so long! It may take a year to recover so I can do it all again in Brooklyn.

I am SO glad to hook up with all my DS pals and remember that it isn't just all about which stars come or don't come it is more about the lasting friendships we make from across the country and the world, from every walk of life, and point of view united in our devotion to this show. DS is more than the show, it is about all of us!

All I can say is that I am soo tired. I just got home late this morning as I stayed in California a few days later and there is so much to catch up on. I did have a great time at the Fest. I especially enjoyed meeting some old friends and finally meeting Midnite who is sooooo nice and MB and other cousins and you know who you are. Again special thanks to Midnite who took her time to introduce me to the other cousins for the first time. This board is truly one big family.
