Disappearing/Reappearing Objects

Hello to All Cousins!

Name an object that either disappears or reappears that you have seen on the show.

Examples: afgan quilts, Sarah's doll, portraits, doorknobs, door knockers, secret rooms, etc.

or how about burke devlin's apartment.first burke lives there,then tony peterson and later on joe haskell.they keep refurnishing it but it's the same.they were even too cheap to buy new curtains.they're always the same loose-weave taupe drapes.and it's always #24.i haven't seen alot of the leviathan stuff but i think paul stoddard ends up there as well.

and roger collins' office makes an impressive array of appearances in various time periods.

and the portrait of betty hanscome.sam evans gives it to victoria but somehow it ends up back at the evans' cottage.it's seen in the background alot but no one talks about it or how much it looks like vicki.

How about the box that in 1897 contained the Hand Of Count Petofi.

Oh, that box!  A keen eye will see it popping up everywhere throughout the series, on end-tables, mantels, shelves, bureau tops, etc.  That box has been to more places than lost luggage on a United Airlines flight.

Speaking of boxes, it always amazed me that the naga box from the Leviathan storyline was rather small, and yet somehow that huge, coffee-table edition of the naga book was crammed into there.
