This isn't actually an announcement.  I thought I'd share the link to this post in the Dark Shadows topic on the Classic Horror Film message board.

Skip down to the 4th post from the bottom on this page, authored by Southern Beau-- a DS fan who described himself in an earlier post as Don Briscoe's cousin, and this is his response when asked by HorrorFan (our David) to share some of his memories of Don from family reunions:

I can't verify that this person is really his cousin, but I can't say that he isn't.  But this bittersweet account from someone who claims to have shared some personal time with Don Briscoe seemed appropriate to share here.
