I recently got the DVD of the original "Nosferatu", directed by F.W. Murnau.  Because this is a silent film, you have to read everything.  At the very beginning, Murnau had put down about the vampire, and how 'Dark Shadows' were from his castle. [director] [_Vampire_]

I just thought that was neat.
