Who would have made an interesting love interest for Julia besides Barnabas?

Please God, just send her a MAN!  Any man!  The poor girl must live in a perpetual state of sexual frustration!  All this passion to give to Barnabas and the dope lusts after every barely legal cupcake who drifts his way.  Stokes, Roger, Quentin, the Jennings Boys (loved that Heather!), I don't care.  Any or all will do for this love-starved doctor!

Actually, I was looking at an episode or two with Chris Jennings and all I can say is, I think Julia REALLY wanted him.  She can't seem to keep her hands off of him.  Wish I had the Julia/Tom episodes and more Julia/Chris ones.

Julia was a passionate gal, and her lovelorn status at least gives way for great fan fiction and fantasy (smut or otherwise) for years to come.

Call me a hopeless romantic, but these pairings seem obvious to me:

Julia and "Hoffman" from parallel 1970.
Julia and the headless body of Judah Zachary.
Julia and the nameless guy Charles Delaware Tate made happen.    He ought to have got him some, before getting shot.
Julia and centegenarian Tate in 1970.  (Ditto.)   That was one infectious laugh he had.
Julia and Quentin/Amanda's Mr. Death.

I'm full of great ideas like these.

Well, I'm normally an unapologetic    *B&J NUT* (I believe that Julia was in love with the B-man, and in the end he had feelings for her as well) but... if we must speculate...

I'm all for a Julia/Jennings Boys match-up.  If ol' Barney could chase after every sweet young thing that crossed his path, then why shouldn't Julia have a couple of young hunks all to herself?  In an homage to THE NIGHT OF THE IGUANA, I envision Julia running a small resort in Mexico, with Tom and Chris as her beach boys.

Another excellent romantic interest for our fair Julia's hand would well have been that dashing young attorney Tony Peterson... a sweet and charming couple if ever there was one. 

They really should have given Julia a love interest, even if it was someone who wanted her, while she wasn't interested in him. I think that Chris would have been pretty hot to have around.

I think it would've taken a lot to distract her from Barnabas, but I agree, it would've been nice to see someone interested in her, if nothing else.

I thought the Tom and Julia side storyline was fun (because it was a more than welcome break from Adam and Nicholas Blair) , though Tom did absolutely nothing for me. He was a bit too rediculous, IMO.
