I don't think that the Pen has ever put in an appearance at a festival. What an oversight!

I love it whenever we have a thread here about THE PEN.  The true megastar of DARK SHADOWS.

I do find myself laughing whenever I play one of those shows and the characters earnestly recite dialogue about how rare and valuable it is.  It was probably something they found at Woolworth's for 99 cents.  Like Barnabas's ring.  Quote Frid:  "It was a tacky old thing."

Bit your tongue!! It was surely worth hundreds of dollars!!  That's how committed DC was to the integrity of that storyline!!

i'd imagine it's value was on par with Julia's "heirloom" medallion. that is priceless!

MB...shame on you (but you're a man, you don't price jewelry as often as women). Even though silver filigree (I've never heard of 'silver' filigree; I thought the process was for 'gold') 'hundreds', oh MB, even taking into account it's 50 years ago...THOUSANDS...
(and, I can't name my source, but the pen still receives a very nice amount of residuals!)
