Maybe Palm Springs was where Prof. Stokes sent the long-absent Adam to get his face worked on by some, undoubtedly, superb plastic surgeons?

That's Stokes - always so forward with his questions! And Julia's reaction works so perfectly! Excellent, dom!!

(Quite possibly. It's actually too bad that the show didn't last long enough to bring Adam back. It could have been fascinating to see how he might have matured once his scars had been removed and he'd been out in the world and away from Nicholas' influences...)
