Eps 1024 & 1025

Were those love letters from Quentin to Angelique real, I wonder? I guess he loved Angelique when they were first married, but that's ancient history, and why Maggie can't sense that he no longer feels that way, I just don't know; she apparently has self-esteem issues.

Did he? Ever?
Because as we know from "Rebecca", within just a few days of their marriage, Rebecca told Max things, 'that he'd never repeat to another person'. And, he tells the 2nd Mrs. DeWinter, "You thought I loved her (Rebecca), I hated her"
Go to your room....what? In 1970, that wouldn't have played, no dice. And Q is a dullard, not realizing someone is setting his wife up.

I guess it was like in Rebecca, only the writers didn't explain.  Some explanation is needed, when you say you never loved your wife, ever.
