Opening Board/Side Pic

(For Gosh sakes, I know I've asked a bunch of times, but, what are the 'montages' or pics on the sides of each boards?) Also, I know the reason for specific pics being on specific boards have bee mentioned, but please refresh my memory.

Okay, side board when I first logged on.

There's a picture of Louis & C. Pennock; it's directly beneath a pic of J. Bennett, and right above one of Laura & David.

Could you tell me which story arc this is? And, Louis looks unhappy. Why?

Hi Patti,

There are different photo montages that show up each time you navigate to a fresh screen on the board.  This is February of 2016 which means that the original series montage shows episodes that aired in February of 1967 through Feb. of 1971.  So, the Laura and David shot aired in Feb. of 1967, while the Pennock/Edmonds shot (showing the actors in the roles of Jeb and Roger) aired in Feb. of 1970, towards the end of Leviathan.  I also see Millicent from 1795 and Julia and Morgan from PT 1841. Those eps aired respectively in 1968 and 1971.

Gothick, thanks for explaining how the backgrounds for the original series work. And as for your question, Patti, as to why Louis Edmonds doesn't look happy in his screen capture, well, that's because it's from the scene after Jeb catches Roger calling him a cheap, insufferanle pig. 

But when it comes to the backgrounds for hoDS/NoDS and the '91 DS, they're made up of some of the captures that are featured in the given months in the Movies Slideshow and the '91 Series Slideshow (neither of which is currently on display on the forum). And the background for the Depp/DS film is merely made up of various head shots of the main characters.  But one day I would like to get around to putting together different backgrounds for the Depp/DS film choosing from screen caps that are featured in the given months of its slideshow (which is currently atop the latest "Calendar Events / Announcements" board). And I'd also like to put together at least a head shots background for the '04 DS pilot...

Come to think of MB, you actually owed me that.

About a month ago, I mentioned a game I play on my phone or computer, called Quizup.
I mentioned it had the category of Dark Shadows.

My 2nd time playing it, it asked what important clue was found on the beach.
So, yeah, you can hit me; I realize me not telling you was wicked.
