Ben Cross Movie News

For those who are fans of Ben Cross, the English actor who portrayed Barnabas Collins in the 1991 Dark Shadows series, I just learned that he has a role in the new movie The Exorcist: The Beginning (which is due to be released this weekend in the US, I believe).

I have no further info, but wanted to let Ben's fans know.

-Unimportant, enigmatic role.  In 2nd Scene and 2nd to -last scene.

He is not aging well but then again I never found him all that handsom, hot or anything. .stern, cold and mean was my take on the dude. . .

Overall movie..thumbs waaaay down . .[spoiler]disgustingly gratitious violence --forgive me but a child being eaten by a hyenna does NOT need to be on screen.  Barely alive actors not even emoting let alone acting.  .there is one scene in particular where a co-lead reveals that she is an Auschwitz survivor and then quickly and blithely moves on.  ."and why aren't you a priest any longer?"  Comically uninteresting. . .[/spoiler]
