A Cousin Has Passed

I am sad to report that longtime fan Diane Eckert, who posted here as adamsgirl passed away earlier today after a long illness. Longtime festival goers may remember Diane from her appearances in the costume gala and the Collinsport Players. Diane was always friendly and a lot of fun to be around. She will definitely be missed.

I was privileged to work with Diane in the Collinsport Players skits. She was a lovely, helpful lady and extremely talented.  I will miss her very much.

It would be nice if the Festival acknowledged her passing (as well as other long time fans) in some way.

Diane was very dear to me. The highlight of our friendship was the time she spent helping me edit my novelization of Night of Dark Shadows. I dedicated it to her. I am confident she is in a better place now.
