Geez, I had never even heard of the SCA.  :-
Umm. I have mainly because it's fashionable within the academy to slam the SCA.
Really? Gee, I must travel in the wrong academic circles...
Hey! Maybe to boost my geek factor, I should start my own group devoted to exploring what it might have been like had computers existed in 17th century Europe. Yeah! That might do it!Â
I can honestly say that, other than an occasional game of computer solitaire to pass the time while my computer is working on something else for me, I've never played a computer/video game in my life. And I couldn't tell the difference between an X-Box and Nintendo if they offered to pay me a million dollars.
But imagine my surprise that on a scale of 1 to 8 that ranges from Geekish Tendencies to Dysfuntional Geek, I only rank a 2 - a plain, every day Geek (with a resultant geekiness of only 16.17357%)! And that's even factoring in that I use Linux over Windows!!I guess this means I let too much real life get in the way of embracing geekiness. I'll have to do something about that! But enough about me. Why not see where you rank on the geek-o-meter? (And don't kid yourself - the mere fact that you're on your computer reading this forum definitely means that you'll place on the survey somewhere. )
15.18738% - GeekI feel so curiously unaccomplished... :-

and I got a kick out of the one phrase: "I want...to call Microsoft Microshaft." LMAO
Methinks you miss the belief of the test:Lack of computer/video game knowledge --> LESS geekyExperienced computer/video game player --> MORE geeky

I LOVE this ability to easily respond to more than one post at a time!
Just found out I'm 16.37081% - Geek! Wow! I had no idea - guess it's never too late to find yourself!
