. . .I always liked Gerringer better too (more potential backstory for Dave Woodard & Julia's friendship).

Totally agree here.  I could almost detect a twinkle in Gerringer's eyes when Woodard would converse with Julia. Would have liked to have heard more on their collective background.

I've started to watch the early Dr. Lang eps and wonder what Woodard would have made of Lang had he lived that long? Or how things would have turned out had Lang been Maggie's physician instead of Woodard?

It's probably pretty safe to assume that Woodard might have thought Lang was brilliant but a crackpot.  [wink2]

Barnabas would have been cured a lot earlier. It also might have completely screwed up the dynamic between Barn and Julia because he wouldn't have had a need for Julia's treatments. So, perhaps we should be very grateful Lang wasn't around then...

Though one saving grace may have been that there might never have been a Jeff Clark.     :D
