The CW's Sleepy Hollow "looks like Dark Shadows meets..."

Apparently we're not the only ones who think the CW's new show Sleepy Hollow has a DS vibe to it. Check out the 5th question down in this week's Ask Matt column on tvguide.com to get one potential viewer's impression of what the show looks like it might be, along with TV Guide's critic Matt Roush's opinion of the show. (Let's just say that based on its pilot, he doesn't think it will last long.)

Apparently there's a difference of opinion about this show because this past weekend the PBS Movie/TV review show Just Seen It gave an enthusiastic recommendation for Sleepy Hollow. In fact, during a discussion of the show, one critic said "it's a lot of fun and it's a great twist on an old story," and another said it "could be the coolest show of the new season." And all three of the show's critic voted See It (out of a choice of See It, Stream It, or Skip It). So, SH may turn out to be something worth watching after all. I suppose we'll see...
