I went into my profile and changed the avatar , because my old "Adam Frankenstein" theme has long gone, but it didn't work.
I was asked for my password, and I gave it and I don't understand. Afan

Scully any longer. Tried to change it but failed.  Still don't know how to change the picture and words that are outdated now.  Thank you. Afan

Afan,

Click profile in the horizontal menu at the top or bottom.

Carefully fill in the first blank space with your Current Password.

NEXT, Scroll down to where it says Personalized Picture and highlight the image you want (you can see what each looks like by clicking on it)

     OR

     Check the box following I have my own pic: and type in the URL of the image.  The image must be stored on a website and one you have permission from the site owner to link to, and it has to be a gif or jpg that's no larger than 82X86.

Change your Personal Text.

Click Change profile to save these changes.

You'll now have a new avatar and personal message.
