Frid/Fests/Wondering

Frid started re-attending fests when I stopped attending (if it weren't  for bad luck...). My Frid-wish other than wishing he would attend fests period, was to hear Frid recreate the recitals from the DS LP that came out in the '60s. Did he ever do that at any of the latter fests?

I somehow doubt it.  Nancy Kersey would know definitively.

dom, I wish you could hear a recording of Frid telling this story that starts out with him having a dream about Yma Sumac showing up at his apartment one evening.  It's really hilarious.  I heard him do it at a one man show I attended of his in the 1990s.

Yes, Go thick, that was "Yma Dream", which I saw him perform at the 1991 fest. It was great!  He also did one about the torture of trying to get through a phone answering menu.
