(Well, yeah, it would certainly help.    Though I've discovered that they don't like it if you answer the door in your bathrobe because that has happened to me when they've come at some ungodly early hour in the morning. They get very fidgety and embarrassed and leave quickly.  )

(Excellent strategem!  I'll have to remember that.   I don't have a robe, so I'll just have to make do....   I know I know OT...)
