Question for the folks in the know

Hey guys!! Looooooong time no see!! Sorry!

I've recently got ahold of the 3rd set of DVD's (my first actual purchase of any of the DVD sets) Not only am I totally blown away, but I had a sudden question pop up in my head.

When exactly does the rest of the family learn that Julia is actually a Doctor and not a historian? Or is that something that happens behind the scenes and one day everybody just knows it?

Scarily enough I haven't seen 98% of the episodes after Maggie's release by Barnabas up to the arrival of Beth & Quentin*s ghosts! Ara! Too much of a gap!!

I've missed you guys a lot! I hope to see some of you at the Fest this year in NY (I hope!) and definitely at the Halloween Party! (I missed last year's because I was moving to Maine!)

Immediately after Vicki returns from the seance that took her to 1795. She's incoherent, babbling, hysterical (wailing about that loser IIRC) and Julia takes over. Liz or Roger questions this calling her "Miss Hoffman" and she announces "Dr. Hoffman." Later she gives this really, really lame story to Liz about why she was lying and that's that.
