OT: Kate Jackson on Match Game
« on: February 13, 2012, 08:26:00 PM »
For those of you who get the Game Show Network (GSN), Kate Jacksons week of shows on The Match Game from 1975 should air starting this Friday the 17th at 8:30 am Eastern with the remaining shows airing back to back from 8-9 am Eastern on Monday and Tuesday. It is interesting to see her before Charlies Angels and her work mentioned from The Rookies.

She was a fixture on a ton of game shows while she was on The Rookies. It seemed like hardly more than  a month or two went by before she appeared on another. Match Game, Password, Hollywood Squares, $20,000 Pyramid, Celebrity Sweepstakes, and who knows how many others I've completely forgotten about. She may have actually made more money in those years from game show appearances than she did being a regular on The Rookies[snow_cheesy]

While it was interesting to see Kate Jackson in a different setting, for me the anticipation of seeing these episodes provided more entertainment than the episodes themselves. I used to love Match Game but this was painful to watch. RIP. [snow_sleep] Thank you for the heads up, though, patrickm, it was nice to see Brett, Fannie, and Charles again.
