I'll get this and read it, but considering how she wrote Quentin in TSB I don't have high expectations.

I am looking forward to the new DS novel. Unfortunately, I got an email from Amazon (as I've already pre ordered the book) that the release date has been pushed back to March 2013, and when I tried to check out the product's page for more info, discovered it's actually no longer even available to pre order despite still being active in my orders, the page now only allows customers to register for an update when the book becomes available.
So who knows what's really going on with this. I'm not sure if that new release date is offical or what.

Oh dear.  Maybe a fan actually reminded Lara that Quentin can "lose" his portrait but still doesn't undergo the werewolf transformation, thanks to Petofi.

Back to the drawing board?

G.

Yeah, the whole thing about the portrait does sound troubling, but I'm trying to reserve judgement until I've read it. While I am looking forward to reading it, I hope the delayed release means that the book is going to be a stronger work as a result.
