[It's up to the first poster to come up with a set up, and then each following post will either complete it or fill in the blank(s). And, as always, whoever posts the set up is certainly allowed to post their own completion/fill in as a follow up.]

Set-up:
BD: "Is that the study, or is it behind me, and down the hall?  I'm never sure!"
ECS: "Oh, who cares Burke, as long as __________!"

...we can look out the drawing room windows and see who's coming to the front door!

  

(Though when they do that I always try to imagine that they see them coming up a driveway.  )

(We probably all make those little mental adjustments vwhen watching, MB... it can be exhausting sometimes!)

ECS: "Oh, who cares Burke, as long as we have each other!"
