Fake 2012 Dark Shadows poster being sold on eBay

If anyone knows the person who created the really nice fanart poster for the Johnny Depp movie, can they please let them know that someone on eBay is trying to make money by selling prints of it:

Oy.  I don't know who made that poster, and I admit that I think it's a fantastic job for a fan-made poster, but it sucks that it is being passed off as legitimate.  Just goes to show you, people will sell (and often buy) anything

Stuart Manning created that poster just for fun for his DS News Blog. I agree that it's fantastic work, and since he posted it, it has spread all over the Internet. But it's beyond brazen if someone has the audacity to sell Stuart's work for their own profit without Stuart's permission!!

Fortunately, eBay does have options where one can report items if it violates their policies. Since Stuart is the copyright holder of the image, he might have to be the one to file the claim, but that should hopefully result in getting the listing removed.

the poster is a very cool piece of fan artwork...

but i would think it would be obvious to just about anyone that's at least a ten year old picture of depp(even fifteen, maybe)and that it would not be used in a current production.

To be honest, I think life's too short to pursue it. I do feel a bit sorry for any buyers, though, as a print will look pretty scuzzy lifted from something that lo-res.
