There's a perfectly dreadful 1970's movie called, appropriately enough, The Car, where James Brolin and the Richards sisters are pursued by a homicidal car. It's all pretty stupid but memorable for the immortal line: The Car Is In The Garage.

([pointing-up]  I remember that movie being out. I also remember the horrendous reviews it got. Though that made it perfect drive-in fare for people who didn't go to the drive-in for the movie.  [naughty])

(Well, when it comes to his books, Stephen King could have success with almost anything. It's a shame, though, that too many of his books get massacred by the movies made of them...)
